ARALOV VLADIMIR
NIKOLAYEVICH
1893-1972
Painter. Studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1908-1913), attending classes of Ye.A. Arkhipov and Ä.Ì. Vasnetsov. Member of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists since 1939.
Showed his works at exhibitions starting from 1913 (Moscow). One-man exhibition In Moscow in 1950. Painted: "Chekhov's House in Yalta" (1939), "The Timiryazev Academy" (1944), "Pakhra. Gorki Lenlnskiye" (1948), "Architectural Monuments of Moscow and Moscow Suburbs" series (1961-1962, first prize of the Art Foundation of the RSFSR, 1962), "Blossoming May" (1939), "The Volga Bank", " Ploughland" (1947), "Collective-Farm Apiary" (1949), "Winter. A sunny Day" (1961) and other pictures. Aralov's works are preserved In the Chuvash Art Gallery, the Museum of the History and Reconstruction of Moscow, the Novosibirsk Regional Picture Gallery and the A.M. Gorky Museum in Moscow.
